Music Ministry

We would like to invite all musicians or those who are interested in learning more about music to talk with a choir member or clergy or the Director of Music about rehearsals and this wonderful ministry to our parish.

The main service is greatly enhanced by the music ministry, led by a highly qualified music director, Eugenia Toole Glover. The St. Augustine Choir provides leadership to the whole congregation to “make a joyful noise.” It is supported by the Mohler Pipe Organ given by all members of the parish who contributed in memory or in thanksgiving for family members or some special occasion. Sometimes the children will lead the singing with special music or guest performers join in celebrating the great feast days or other special events. Special choral music programs are offered on Palm Sunday, Easter, Lessons and Carols, Christmas Eve Midnight Mass, and at other times during the church year. As an added grace note for our service, two octaves of hand bells have been given in memory of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Murphy, and a bell choir plays on special occasion.

Rehearsals are held on Wednesday evenings from _____ to ____ p.m. and on Sunday morning from ____ to ____ p.m.
